Mt. Naomi

Saturday we embarked on Ari's longest hike to date; almost 7 miles, Ari did great. We hiked Mt. Naomi, it's the highest peak in the Bear River Range, so as you can imagine the view was awesome. It was a great day.

A Dog in a Trailer

Now that the weather is below 90, Ari and I have been enjoying more and more hikes and bike rides. The problem with biking is that I like doing long rides to say Green Canyon, or across town to the dog park...both places K-So would love to go. K-So's really good about running next to the trailer while were in town but unfortunately the Logan City dog catchers have some keen dog off leash radars. So, after thinking about this dilemma I decided why not put K-So in the trailer until we get to our destination then let her run around. GENIUS! Well, she really enjoyed sitting in the trailer in the house, but once we hit the open road she got a a little leary, and people started looking at us funny. I guess no one had ever seen a dog on top of a kid in a trailer squished up against the screen before. It's going to take some practice, but I think this plan may eventually work.

Crawling...Finally

The day has arrived. Ari has finally decided to crawl. Today while sitting in my Dads office Ari scooted over to my Dads desk and started playing with the computer tower (it sits close to the ground). I informed Ari that he could not play with it and drug him to the other side of the room. Ari, in a bold move of defiance simply crawled back over to the tower. We were awestruck. This video is of his second crawl, we had to see if it was just a fluke. Unfortunately Joe (who has been away for about 2 weeks) missed the first crawl by about 40 minutes.

Saturday in St.G

Here are a few random photos from Saturday. The first was taken just after Ari and Libby were busted getting into grandmas things. The second was taken while on a hike up on Pine Valley Mountain. It has been so blasted hot here in St.George that Ari, Lacey and I retreated to Pine Valley. It was heavenly.
