Card Cayon Hike

This was Ari's longest hike to date, we were gone for almost 4 hours. Ari ended up with his first hiking battle scar, when he fell asleep in his pack his nose rubbed against it and took a little skin off, poor kid now has a nice scab on his nose. Pictured here is Ari, Joe and Olivia.

Random Photos of Ari

I took this first photo of Ari primarily because I liked all the colors of his blocks; but then I decided it made a better black and white. I have this thing for black and white.
I was trying to get a good shot of Ari's crazy independently moving toe. For those of you who have not witnessed this, he can move his pinky toe independently. This photo was hard to take because Ari's feet rarely stop moving.
This was me attempting to take a picture of how well Ari was sitting up now days...apparently he wasn't sitting up all that well today; so I took a photo of him flopped over since he seems to get himself into this position quite regularly. He doesn't seem to mind flopping over, he just starts to eat the couch, carpet, blanket, floor or whatever he has flopped over on until someone come to rescue him.

Blabber Buns

And all we were trying to do was watch "The Office". I guess this is just one more reason to not have your child vaccinated...they go crazy.

The Hug

Joe snapped this photo while messing around with my camera settings; I thought it turned out kind-of cool. Nothing like an Ari hug.

St.George Cousins

Ari and I have been down in St.George doing some photography for "The Design Firm". Ari has been my faithful assistant...however it turns out I could use an assistant for my assistant... Anyway, when were not photoing we got in some quality cousin time.

K-So enjoyed some time with cousin Guss (photo to right). They actually got along quite well, Guss gave tug-of-war his best shot.

On Sunday we rounded up all the grandkids (minus Dylan, 2 weeks old) in the industrial yard wagon for a photo. Travis would pull them around in the wagon to get them happy, and as they rounded the back corner in the yard Addie would pull out the binkies and we would try and snap photos of them all looking happy. It was a weekend of great photos...I will have to post more later.

Food Glorious Food

Ari has finally begun to show an interest in food. Joe got him to eat more than 5 bites of banana; it was an exciting day. Even k-so started off excited but then grew bored when she realized Ari was not going to fling anything her way.

Ari's appetite escalated to a whole new level when Grandma Nancy fed him rice cereal...her feeding technique was elegant and refined, apparently Ari appreciated that. After several observations of Grandmas feeding technique we have this food thing down! Welcome Ari to the wonderful world of food, you should be enjoying curry in no time.
