Ares Rocket

Ari's been somewhat fascinated lately by space related things. His current favorite video clip is this one:



So, when a friend of Joe's from the Aerospace department invited him and Ari to join him and his son down at Promotpry point for the testing of the bottom 1/2 of the Ares rocket, they were much obliged. I'm not sure what Ari enjoyed more, playing with Clay (his son who's the same age and equally obsessed with trucks) or the firing of the rocket. When they got home it appeared to be a successful outing in that 1. Ari didn't want to get out of the car (mostly because he had to leave Clay's truck behind) and 2. His face was plastered with dirt and Oreo cookies. He also came home with several space exploration posters which are now all over his room.
