Didn't Exactly Make it to the Arch

Ari much prefers to hike now days. The new trick to trails is to let Ari hike out all of his energy at the beginning of the trail so that he "wants" to get in his pack. It works ok. A few photos of Ari on the trail.


I dare say Ari could easily hike a mile but we have yet to find out due to important distractions; ants, caves, rocks, sand, cliffs, flowers and a recent discovery, cairns. Ari couldn't believe his luck when he saw that someone had stacked up rocks all along the trail for him to knock over.


Then Ari met his cairn match; he decided to leave that one alone.


After hiking UP the canyon Ari finally decided to get in his pack. We never made it to the arch we were hiking too, but you know what they say...ummmm something about the joy in the journey...
